Chinese Buffet Green Beans August 2, 2011

It’s rare that I make up my own recipe. I borrow from others and add or delete ingredients. Frequently, I use — this is one of those times. Here is the original recipe:

I made the recipe exactly as written, except that I subbed vegetarian “oyster” sauce for the stuff with shellfish. Yes, you can buy “oyster” sauce with no oysters — and it’s good. I got mine at the Asian market, but it can also be found here: I also added toasted sesame seeds for a little visual interest.
